Hitter of the Day
The hitter of the day is no stranger to VBL fans- it’s 2019 League MVP Aidan Nagle! Returning to Woodstock for a second season, last night Nagle went 2-4, with a run, double, home run, and three RBIs. He’s rocking again, slashing .341/.436/.588 in 85 at-bats, with three doubles, six home runs, and 30 RBIs.

Our POD also comes from Woodstock; it’s Miami’s Jamar Fairweather, who fired five one-hit, shutout innings against the hard-hitting New Market squad. He allowed three walks and struck out six to earn the win and a game score of 68. In 14 innings this summer, Fairweather is 1-0, 1.92, with 16 K’s.
